The BMHL welcomes everyone to our new home here at Duda just in time for the 2017 season! The new website offers a ton of new features that our past sites didn't offer. Here is a list of all our new features for the 2017 season...
BMHL Player Library: The BMHL player library offers Team Owners a way to research players across the BMHL. Whether it be their own players, or their opponents, the player library has a basic profile of all the current players in the BMHL 2017 Season such as their country, position, statistics, profile picture, etc.
BMHL Stats: Unfortunately there is no apps on Duda that allow full onsite statistics, however that didn't stop us from posting the top offensive leaders, and goalie leaders. Also from a click of the button you can switch to our Leaguelineup website which offers full stats of everyone.
Forms/Registration: This is going to be the first year ever in BMHL where trades, Free Agency, releases, signings, and player registration will all be done through official BMHL forms! This is a huge step for us as now we will be able to keep records on all the player movements without worrying about being disorganized.
Free Agent List: Never has it been easier before for Team Owners to find players to add to their team. With the new Free Agent list all you gotta do is scroll down until you see a name and picture that interests you and click that players name to reveal the players profile.
Google Calender and Leaguelineup Schedule combined: Thanks to Google Calenders and Leaguelineups ability to transfer data to Google we now have the most in-depth schedule we have ever had in BMHL history!
BMHL Advanced Rulebook (now with more pictures): Okay so we didn't overload the damn thing with pictures...but we did update the rulebook with a little bit more pictures every few sections.
BMHL Staff 2017: Get a look at some of our current staff or members trying out for a position in the BMHL hierarchy.
UPCOMING FEATURES:
Forums: The BMHL is currently researching ideas to get a better forum than the disappointing results we had from our last forums on our previous sites.
Updated Rosters: One of the features lacking in past BMHL seasons is the ability to look at rosters in a more detailed manner, but now with Duda we were able to make a nice detailed roster where you can click on a players names to see full stats of that player. This update will be coming soon...

On December 27th the undefeated Montgomery Cotton Kings faced off against the Roblox Wheeling Nailers in the gold medal game. The Nailers barley qualified for the elimination round by 1 point. The Cotton Kings were unfazed by the competition so far and proving it by winning their semi final match 6-0 over the defending BMHL Cup Champions the Blazzers, but if there was a team that knows how to expose the C.K (Cotton Kings) it would be the Nailers who lost a controversial game in overtime against them in the round robin.
It would be the C.K striking first in the 1st period just 30 seconds in from a nice jump deke move from Xxblue17whitexx to fake out Nailers starting goalie Grxtzky. Nailers would answer back just minutes later with Xxxthatwaseasyxxx making a spin fake move past defender Snowman12346 from the left side of the goal leaving him wide open in front of the net giving him time to make another move where he pulled the puck right and quickly shot it to the open right side of the net. RIPDRAG was in net now for the Nailers, and he showed his nervousness after he lets in a half ice goal when snowman12346 shoots it from his own blue line when suddenly the puck takes a funny bounce off the ice in front of his crease and in. Luckily though Xxxthatwaseasyxxx came to play today because not long after that goal he stripes the puck off Snowman12346's blade and pulls the puck to the left side and rips it short side. After some more good chances from both clubs the period would end 2-2.
There weren't any goals scored in the 2nd period as both teams defences conservatively controlled the play only allowing a total of 6 shots combined. The closest to scoring for the C.K was Xxblue17whitexx who had a shot from just about the Nailers blue line float off the left post just under where the post and crossbar meet. The best chance for the Nailers was when C.K's back up goalie (who was not in net for the game) Picture_Riperino let out an ugly rebound off a clear from Fisk31 right to Xxxthatwasteasyxxx who basically had the entire bottom of the net open because Picture_Riperino jumped up thinking he was going to shoot it high; fortunately for him Xxxthat fanned on the shot allowing Picture time to aggressively poke the puck away with his pad.
Things opened up in the 3rd period though as both teams furiously pressed for the go ahead goal. The goalies though were up to the task with some nice glove saves and good positional saves needed to give their teams a chance to win the gold. The tie would have to end eventually though and just over 8 minutes into the 3rd Xxxthatwaseasyxxx clears the puck down the ice and Xxxthatwasnastyxxx (Goundey) zips down the ice and touches the puck to negate the icing call. Xxblue and Xxxthatwaseasy battle for the puck in the Cotton Kings zone but Xxxthatwaseasy wins the battle, dumps the puck off to the left side of the net, picks it up, spins to the left in the corner past all 3 defenders, and fires the puck along the ice past the right foot of goaltender Picture_Riperino for the 3-2 lead. A little under 7 minutes to go in the game the referee gives the Nailers a controversial penalty for "tripping" which isn't even in the rulebook. The Nailers accept the penalty though and the Cotton Kings went to the attack. It would be the Nailers though with the best opportunity when Xxxthatwasnasty intercepts a pass intended for snowman12346 at the blue line from GirouxBuild, but goaltender SmaIIzy (who was back in net after the Nailers 3rd goal) makes a nice blocker save, the rebound would go right back to Xxxthatwasnasty but he would fire it right off the top of the left goal post to keep the Cotton Kings gold medal hopes alive. The Nailers momentum was unstoppable at this point, as the Cotton Kings took their frustration out on the referee for missing some icing calls during the game. C.K's goaltender tried his best to keep the Nailers from winning with some more big saves, but the Nailers domination in the 2nd half of the period was too much for the Cotton Kings to handle as Xxxthatwaseasy striped the puck off Snowman12346 from C.K's blueline and made a move past him, and then on the breakaway he pulled the puck to his backhand and slammed the puck to the left side of the net for the dagger. After that the frustration boiled over for the Cotton Kings and they blamed the referee for their lost and decided they were going to forfeit due to the ref missing some icing calls throughout the game. The Nailers win the gold medal with a 4-2 win.
