The BMHL welcomes everyone to our new home here at Duda just in time for the 2017 season! The new website offers a ton of new features that our past sites didn't offer. Here is a list of all our new features for the 2017 season...
BMHL Player Library: The BMHL player library offers Team Owners a way to research players across the BMHL. Whether it be their own players, or their opponents, the player library has a basic profile of all the current players in the BMHL 2017 Season such as their country, position, statistics, profile picture, etc.
BMHL Stats: Unfortunately there is no apps on Duda that allow full onsite statistics, however that didn't stop us from posting the top offensive leaders, and goalie leaders. Also from a click of the button you can switch to our Leaguelineup website which offers full stats of everyone.
Forms/Registration: This is going to be the first year ever in BMHL where trades, Free Agency, releases, signings, and player registration will all be done through official BMHL forms! This is a huge step for us as now we will be able to keep records on all the player movements without worrying about being disorganized.
Free Agent List: Never has it been easier before for Team Owners to find players to add to their team. With the new Free Agent list all you gotta do is scroll down until you see a name and picture that interests you and click that players name to reveal the players profile.
Google Calender and Leaguelineup Schedule combined: Thanks to Google Calenders and Leaguelineups ability to transfer data to Google we now have the most in-depth schedule we have ever had in BMHL history!
BMHL Advanced Rulebook (now with more pictures): Okay so we didn't overload the damn thing with pictures...but we did update the rulebook with a little bit more pictures every few sections.
BMHL Staff 2017: Get a look at some of our current staff or members trying out for a position in the BMHL hierarchy.
UPCOMING FEATURES:
Forums: The BMHL is currently researching ideas to get a better forum than the disappointing results we had from our last forums on our previous sites.
Updated Rosters: One of the features lacking in past BMHL seasons is the ability to look at rosters in a more detailed manner, but now with Duda we were able to make a nice detailed roster where you can click on a players names to see full stats of that player. This update will be coming soon...

On December 27th the BMHL wrapped up the 2016 Holiday Tournament with a gold and bronze medal game. In the bronze medal game it was the Roblox Blazzers against the Roblox Lakers. After losing a 6-0 against the Montgomery Cotton Kings in the semi finals; the Blazzers showed why they are the defending 2016 BMHL Cup Champions as they scored right off the opening face-off as Grabner went end to end (like he usually does) and tucked it in on a nice deke past Dumbfounded_Goose. The Blazzers carried the momentum for the entire 1st period and scored another breakaway goal from Grabner who slid it five-hole mid-way into the period.
The second period started off no different as the Blazzers took a commanding 3-0 lead a few minutes in with Grabner completing his hat-trick from a great effort as he out-skates CrudelisMortis to negate the icing call and then he makes a nice move to his backhand to fool the Lakers defence and tucks it in far side. A miscommunication half-way into the 2nd period costs the Lakers another goal. The Blazzers dump the puck on net and Dumbfounded_Goose is confused on whether he should play the puck for JulianDumontDavis or cover it allowing ZatterBee to whack at the puck several times until the puck eventually finds its way into back of the net. At this point it appeared all hope was lost for the Lakers to win a bronze medal. Near the end of the 2nd period though the Lakers take a shot that goes wide right but the puck takes a funny bounce off the glass to the front of the net and the puck takes another bounce off the ice over Grabners blade and right to evilsniper55's blade, he fires a quick shot that he fans on, but gets the puck back and shoots it nicely over the right pad of Blazzers goaltender Pawlo2002. The 2nd period ended 4-1.
The third period was heavily penalized against the Blazzers as the Blazzers took over 20 minutes in penalties leaving the door wide open for the Lakers to make a comeback, and comeback they did. It started a few minutes into the 3rd period when the Blazzers took 3 too many man men penalties in a span of less than 2 minutes giving the Lakers a free penalty shot. CrudelisMortis makes no mistake on the penalty shot making a perfect deke forehand to backhand fooling Pawlo. After that goal the Blazzers kept taking silly penalties (usually too many men or bench infractions) but the Lakers couldn't capitalize on any of them as Pawlo stood tall for the Blazzers in net. Suddenly with 43 seconds left during another 3 on 1 man advantage the Blazzers took another bench infraction penalty for standing on top of the boards at their bench; hence, giving the Lakers another penalty shot. CrudelisMortis took the penalty shot again, and didn't disappoint as he tucks a controversial goal that barley beats Pawlo to the left side between the post. For some reason the referee never asked the league for a review on the play to check if the puck went through the side of the netting, and there wasn't much complaining from the Blazzers probably thinking they were going to win the game anyways, so the goal stood. With 43 seconds left on the clock, and the Lakers still having an entire 43 seconds 3 on 1 man advantage the Lakers knew they had a huge chance of tying the game. The Lakers won the faceoff and CrudelisMortis swerved to the right corner and made a nice pass to evilsniper55 wide open on the left side of the net, but he deflects the puck off the post. The puck rebounds to the left of the net and Grabner (the lone Blazzer) and evil battle for their lives for about 10 seconds until the puck suddenly pops up and evilsniper bumps the puck off his chest right across to Crudelis wide open on the right side, Crudelis quickly passes it back to evilsniper positioned just above the left post and easily deflects the puck into the open cage to tie it 4-4! The period ended 4-4 and the game went to overtime 3 on 3 with goalies.
About 4 minutes into the 1st overtime the Blazzers had 2 point-blank opportunities turned away by DarkestNightmare who was in net now for the Lakers, then it was Pawlo stopping a shot in close from CrudelisMortis. The best chance though was with under 2 minutes left when DarkestNightmare lost connection when the puck was in the Lakers defending zone Grabner somehow missed the empty net though from about 10 studs away from the net. So we continued to a 2nd OT. In the 2nd OT it was back and forth as the Blazzers and Lakers traded chances, but finally a perfect zone to zone pass from LanceFoxwell allows ZatterBee to zip by everyone for the breakaway, and he doesn't disappoint as he does a forehand to backhand deke that he touches the puck into the net to win bronze for the Blazzers.
